Pork meat. What good is it? How do we consume it?
The pork meat you much prefer it. It contains more monounsaturated and polyunsaturated than saturated fatty acids. This means that in the context of a healthy diet, it reduces cholesterol levels and the risk of stroke and hypertension.
Unlike beef and lamb, it is not a source of vitamin A but contains significant amounts of minerals such as zinc and iron, which are essential for hematopoiesis. It also contains B vitamins, especially B1, B2 and B3 (thiamine, riboflavin and viacin) which are also necessary for the release of energy from fats, carbohydrates, proteins and alcohols, as well as for muscle growth and repair.
How do we consume it?
We consume a lot of pork in the form of preserved meat. The link between cured meats and bowel cancer is now proven, so choose freshly cut meat that you will cook yourself. Try eating pork with fermented vegetables like sauerkraut to aid digestion and feed your good gut bacteria.
