Chamomile: Properties and ways of use

Obviously we all know that. Chamomile is a plant whose properties are very beneficial for humans and have been known since ancient times. The infusion and the essential oil of the plant work "miracles" on the skin.
You can also use it for cleaning wounds and for their quick healing. The most widespread use of chamomile, in addition to treating gastrointestinal disturbances, is related to its ability to calm the nerves.
It has antioxidant properties and acts against the formation of free radicals which contribute to the aging process. It also has an antiseptic and anti-irritant effect as well as herbal softening ingredients with direct anti-wrinkle and moisturizing effects.

Bring chamomile into your life in the following ways:
– Drink it! It calms the body, while it is particularly soothing and digestive for the stomach. Treats stress and insomnia
– Keep sachets of chamomile in your freezer. Leave them at room temperature for 3 minutes and then place them on the closed eyelids. Chamomile tannin reduces swelling.
– Leave compresses with chamomile decoction for 10 minutes locally so that they soothe any kind of skin problem.
– Make a decoction, let it cool and add 2 drops of lavender essential oil. Make compresses with this mixture on the face to soothe irritated skin.
– Boil 1 liter of water with a full handful of chamomile, strain it and pour the decoction into the bathtub, which you will have filled with water first. This bath will relax you and calm you down from stress, while also soothing possible skin irritations.
– Mix 2 spoons of fresh milk with 2 spoons of chamomile decoction. Put a small amount of the mixture on a cotton pad and wash your face. Then rinse your face with cold water.

– It is a very good cleanser for the sensitive area. Do once a week chamomile washes, and avoid bubble baths that remove the natural moisture of the vagina and destroy the PH.
– If you suffer from a sore throat due to a cold or have irritated and sensitive gums you can gargle with warm chamomile.
