Making our own mosquito repellents!
There is nothing more annoying in the summer than mosquito bites. If you are one of those who avoid buying mosquito repellent products, below you will see some ideas that can be quite useful to you.
To make a natural, healthy and ecological mosquito repellent, follow the following procedure:
Pour 10 drops of one or more anti-mosquito essential oils into a glass container, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix the ingredients well. Apply a few drops to your skin or clothing.
Parsley Mosquito Repellent: Chop a bunch of parsley and drop it into a bottle of apple cider vinegar. Leave it in the fridge or freezer for a few hours. Then either use the mixture directly on the skin or wet a handkerchief with it and wear it around the neck.
You can also soothe the itching sensation with an ointment of equal parts water or vinegar and baking soda and apply it locally to the desired spot.
You can also rub a clove of garlic, fresh marjoram leaves, a little lemon juice or aloe on the affected area. Finally, balsam oil is also a very good choice.
