What you should always pay attention to in sunscreen

The heat has not just started but these days we have experienced it on our skin. The sunscreen it is necessary and you should not forget it for a moment.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires any sunscreen to remain at its original strength for at least 3 years. This means you can use sunscreen left over from previous years.

Some sunscreens have an expiry date: beyond this date they are no longer considered safe, meaning the manufacturer does not guarantee that they provide the protection stated on the packaging.

Throw away any sunscreen that has passed its expiration date.

To keep the sunscreen in good condition, do not leave it outside in hot weather or in direct sunlight. Put the sunscreen bottles in the shade, wrap them in a towel or place them in the fridge if necessary! Throw away the sunscreen if its color or texture changes.

Keep in mind that if you use the sunscreen often and in the right amount, then one bottle will not last long. In general, in each application you should use about 30 ml on the parts of your face and body that are exposed to the sun. That's about the amount that fits in a shot! You may need to apply even more, depending on the size of your body and how many hours you will spend in the sun, since re-applications are also required – renewing sunscreen every 2-3 hours.

If you are painted and you don't want to ruin your makeup, get a product in the form of a spray.
