How to lose the pounds you gained over Easter
Overeating during the holidays is a fact. Now that we're getting into our normal rhythms after the Easter, we have to lose what we got all these days. A little lamb, a little sweets burdened us with grams or even kilos for some.
What you should do:
Remove all holiday treats left on the table, in the cupboards and in the fridge. To avoid throwing them away, you can store them in the freezer.
Make it a goal to lose the holiday pounds and don't just stick to the idea that you'd like to lose them.
Follow 3 main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and 2-3 intermediate snacks with which you will avoid overeating.
Remember that no one forces you to empty your plate!
Include seasonal vegetables in every main meal and be sure to drink lots of green tea.
Emphasize protein-rich, low-fat foods such as low-fat yogurt, cheese or milk, lean cuts of meat (chicken/turkey breast, brisket, etc.), eggs, and nuts.
Finally, don't forget to increase your physical activity. Go for a walk, a walk or a bike ride, a little dance, housework and you will see a significant difference.
Set goals, think positive and you will succeed!
