World Breast Cancer Day – Prevention saves lives

THE October 25th has been established and honored as the World Breast Cancer Prevention Day.
It is a day that concerns us all, but primarily us women. It is a day of reminder that screening and early diagnosis save lives.

THE Breast cancer can meet each of us. It is the most frequent diagnosis of malignancy in women of the modern era worldwide.

In our country alone, it is estimated that one in ten women will develop breast cancer during their adult life, in contrast to men, which constitutes only 1% in total of the cancers that occur in the male population.

Armed with information, prevention, early recognition and diagnosis, victory in the battle against breast cancer can be achieved. Because we must not forget that prevention and early diagnosis are equivalent to cure in this battle of life.
