We cook pork with cabbage
As I very often write you various cooking recipes, so today we will cook together tender pork garlic flavored and scalded cabbage.
Materials:
- 3 slices of bacon
- 2,5 kg pork shoulder (on the bone)
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp salt
- pepper
- 1 fl. water
- 1 medium cabbage cut into six pieces
Way of cooking:
- Spread the bacon in a single layer on the bottom of the pressure cooker and cook over medium heat for about five minutes.
- Cut the meat into three pieces and with a knife make deep cuts in the meat.
- Put the garlic in the slits and season the meat well with salt and pepper all over its surface.
- Place the meat on top of the crispy bacon slices and add the water.
- Secure the lid of the cooker and once the valve is up, reduce the heat to half and boil for about 75 minutes.
- Carefully open the cooker (after all the steam has escaped), check if the meat can be cut with a fork and if necessary boil for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the meat from the pot, add some water and salt to the liquid left inside and add the cabbage.
- Close the kettle again and boil for three to five minutes.
- Using two forks, shred the meat into thin strips and serve with the flavored cabbage.
