Light Friday! What to watch out for!

THE Grill Day arrived!

As we all know, the meat this day has its due.

It is one custom which we neither want to lose nor to be deprived of. It goes without saying that we will not avoid eating meat due to diet, but we certainly should not fall head over heels to eat whatever is on the table.

You should know that the meat accompaniments are the ones that make the calories skyrocket.

Fried foods such as potatoes, courgettes and aubergines, you should consume them in moderation as they absorb "brave" amounts of oil that are only good for you.

A good alternative is grilled vegetables or vegetable skewers with balsamic vinegar.

French fries can be replaced by boiled or baked ones.

About alcohol now:

Do not get carried away by the company and consume it without excesses. Each gram of alcohol supplies you with 7 calories, almost as many as fat. Limit yourself to 1-2 glasses. And attention! Once you stop drinking don't start the sodas!
