2. The UV disinfection lamp can inactivate the virus
Myth! There is no evidence to support the existence of such a benefit, and furthermore these lamps may cause skin irritation.
3. Thermal detectors in detecting patients with the new infection are completely effective
Myth! Thermal detectors are effective in detecting patients who have a fever, which may be the result of a Covid-19 infection or an infection with another pathogen. However, thermal detectors cannot detect patients who do not have a fever or are in the incubation period of the virus (2-10 days before symptoms appear).
4. By putting alcohol or bleach on my body I can kill the new corona virus
Myth! No, it is not going to kill viruses that have already entered your body.
5. A warm bath can prevent infection
Myth! There is no evidence to suggest the preventive value of hot bathing in infection. In fact, excessively hot water can even cause thermal burns. It is especially important not to touch the mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) with our hands.
