Do you sleep with the light on or the TV on? Find out how bad you are doing to your health
There are many who, either out of fear, or for company, or simply because they forget, sleep with a light on or even worse, the TV on. However, as the scientists point out, this bad habit only causes harm to the body health since it affects the functioning of the brain and negatively affects its quality sleep.
As pointed out by Dr. Sheng Bong-Hong from Seoul Medical School in South Korea even low light affects the quality of sleep, as we cannot sleep deeply and are more prone to minor disturbances. This has the effect of not fighting fatigue and the brain becoming more sensitive to external stimuli.
