Warm house with easy tips!

The radiators do not turn on, the radiators raise the PPC bill to unimaginable heights, the air conditioners do not heat efficiently and of course not all houses have a fireplace.

So other ways must be found to keep it home warm and not having to keep the stoves and air conditioners on all the time.

1. Use the curtains

We don't mean wrapping up with them when it's cold but opening them in the morning when it's sunny to let in as much natural light and heat as possible. This will break the moisture. Also, the thick fabric curtains significantly limit the cold coming in from the windows for this reason, and when it gets dark you have to close them immediately.

2. Never turn off the radiator completely

This, of course, concerns those houses that have independent heating (and those who can afford to put oil) and not those houses that have central heating. So when you have the thermostat at 0 all day and at night you put it at 20, you will burn much more oil to heat the house. It is good to leave it at 15-16 so that as soon as it falls below that it turns on and a temperature of 17-18 degrees is maintained at home. So it will take less time to heat the house and you will burn less oil.

3. Lay carpets

Cover all floors with carpets, rugs (which are all the rage), cotton rugs, wool rugs, whatever you have. In this way the heat of the house will not escape through the floor. In addition, you will not freeze if you walk even with (shoes or slippers) on the cold tiles and marbles.

4. Take out everything in front of the radiators

The objects in front of the radiators absorb all the heat from the bodies. Move the furniture around and make sure nothing blocks the heat sources of the house.

5. Shower with the door open.

Let the warm steam travel throughout the house and break the frost.

6. Place aluminum foil behind the radiator

The wall behind the radiators is one of the hottest parts of the house, isn't it a shame that it gets so hot? For this, cut large sheets of aluminum foil and stick them behind the bodies, so that the heat is reflected in the room and not absorbed by the wall.

7. Leave the oven ajar.

When you finish cooking the food, leave the lid open for 5'-10' to let the heat out and spread around the room. Especially if the kitchen is connected to the living room, you are saved! The oven works like an air heater! Of course, if you have children or pets, you will immediately skip this solution.

8. Close and insulate doors to rooms you don't use

Even in small warehouses. There is no reason for heat to be wasted in unoccupied spaces.
