Everything every woman needs to know about the 'sensitive area'
There are some things that some of us may take for granted, some others don't know, and yet they are things that all women should know without knowing.
What are these;
-Always wipe your hands, not only after but also before the toilet. This way you will avoid transferring germs from your hands to the vagina. Never sit down when using toilets in public places.
– Women should always wipe in the toilet from front to back. The opposite increases the chances of transferring bacteria from the anal impurities to the genital area. If you have daughters, make sure you teach them this from a very young age.
– When you are unwell, make sure to change your sanitary napkin every 4-5 hours at most. Keep in mind, that the possibility of a vaginal infection is greater during the period. Do a vaginal wash after sex to prevent the development of infections.
– The bay has a “self-cleaning” system which means that part of its functions are carried out in order to stay clean. When you feel that you need to do something to freshen up the area... down there, like for example at the end of your period, after sex or if you feel itchy, then you can clean it with plenty of water and a special product with a very light formulation so that not to disturb the normal balance of the mucosa.
– Make sure to change underwear daily or even twice a day. You prefer cotton underwear that does not favor the development of moisture.
– Moisture provides the best environment for germs to multiply, so you should avoid it. This means you should change your underwear after exercising and wear a dry bathing suit when you get out of the pool or the sea.
– Prefer the daily shower, instead of the bubble bath. When you fill the tub and soak in the water, bacteria from the skin can reach the sensitive area and cause problems.
- It is essential not to forget the annual gynecological examination at your doctor.
