What not to eat with ANYTHING during your period
On the difficult days of the month, i.e period, every woman goes through it differently. For some things are easier while for others it is a torture with a lot of pain and crying.
But there are some foods that do more harm than good during a woman's period and if you didn't know them, it's time to learn them and start avoiding them.
See what foods you should avoid during your period
- Processed foods found in canned foods contain very high levels of sodium which causes increased fluid retention, which can create even more bloating.
- Alcohol acts as an anticoagulant, increasing blood flow, which can make it even more painful. Drinking alcohol can also increase cramps due to dehydration, but also affect mood swings with the main consequence being depression.
- Fatty meats are high in saturated fat and are more likely to cause inflammation and of course pain, which will worsen the effects of cramps. Instead of pork or beef, you should prefer lean meat.
