Lots of hot peppers? Many more years of life!

If you like hot food with Red pepper, you may live longer. A new American scientific research associated consumption of hot red pepper with a 13% reduction in mortality, mainly from heart attack or stroke. University of Vermont College of Medicine researchers, led by Professor Benjamin Littenberg, who published in the journal PLoS One, analyzed dietary data for over 16,000 people over a period of up to 23 years.

THE study correlated the number of deaths, and the type of deaths, with the type of diet. It was found that hot red pepper lovers tend to live longer. It found that the average avid hot pepper consumer is younger, male, white, smokes, drinks alcohol, has lower cholesterol, lower income, and lower education than non-hot pepper eaters.
