Osteoarthritis. Banish the taboos and face her!

The osteoarthritis of the hand and rheumatoid arthritis are the most common joint diseases affecting the hands. I often come across such incidents in my shops.
THE osteoarthritis hand osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint condition caused by the gradual and progressive wear and tear of the cartilage that covers the bones within the joint. This wear and tear is caused either due to the use of the joints or due to some injury.
In the hands, osteoarthritis manifests itself most often in the following 3 joints:
– At the base of the thumb, at its joint with the wrist
 – In the fingers, in the joint between 2 phalanges, especially the one closest to the metacarpal
 – At the tip of the fingers, at the joint between the last 2 phalanges.
Decreased movement of hand joints, stiffness, swelling and pain are signs of both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis of the hands.
In osteoarthritis, bony lumps develop in the joints between the phalanges of the fingers. The joints are enlarged and the fingers show curvature.
Patients should not take uncontrolled drugs on their own without medical supervision.
