Guide to not gaining weight during the three days of Easter
It is a fact that on M. Saturday the nutritional slips begin and continue until Easter Monday.
The result of this situation is the intake of an average of 1-2 kg.
The following nutritional tips can help you avoid weight gain:
– At noon on M. Saturday and in the context of fasting, you can consume a portion of oily food (e.g. beans, artichokes, etc.), while in the evening you can prefer stew instead of fried liver.
– A good solution when it comes to cookies and buns is to include them in your morning meal along with a glass of semi-skimmed milk.
– Regarding meat, prefer goat to lamb, choose the leanest parts of the animal (such as saddle and leg) and try as much as possible to avoid eating skin.
- Consume lamb in moderation, because its meat contains twice as much fat as beef and slightly more than pork.
– The presence of salad at lunch is considered essential, as vegetables bring about satiety faster, resulting in us eating smaller amounts.
– If you want to sweeten yourself, you can choose some simple ice cream (without syrups and nuts) as it is one of the desserts with the fewest calories and at the same time contains many nutrients.
- Alcohol consumption should be done in moderation (2-3 drinks a day) because alcohol provides enough calories.
– In the evening have a light meal such as yogurt with fruit, salad with lean meat or lean cheese, a soothing herbal soup, salad with two boiled eggs.
– Never forget that physical activity helps to maintain weight, put the machines aside and turn the spit yourself, dance with your friends and relatives and the afternoon
take a walk in the countryside.
