Defeat old age! Put an end to wrinkles with these tips!

THE fight against old age is a timeless affair and although at some point "grandfather time" wins there are ways to reduce the effects of its victory on your skin. Forget them wrinkles and invest in your beauty based on the following four tips.

1. Invest in your glasses

Look for sunglasses with opaque lenses that have protection from the sun's rays. They will protect you from the strange grimaces that make you see better. Sun protection will also protect the delicate skin around your eyes when the glasses have large frames. So the bigger the better.

As your vision begins to fail you, muscles around the eyes try to help the eyes. This increases wrinkles around the eyes. The right doctor's prescription for your daily glasses will save you from vision problems and unnecessary wrinkles.

2. Think about your skin when you're tempted to eat processed treats

You know that carbs and too much sugar are at the top of the list of things you shouldn't eat. They can create wrinkles through glycosylation. Eating such products creates a temporary spike in sugar, and when the sugar molecules bind to the body's collagen, which is linked to skin elasticity, it hardens.

So instead of eating these tasty but unhealthy snacks, opt for fruits, vegetables and healthy fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids. This reduces acne and the skin acquires a natural glow.

3. Use retinoids

All dermatologists agree that using them saves. The list of anti-aging benefits is huge. They increase collagen production, make your pores look smaller and brighten your skin. Some useful tips though:

  • If you have sensitive skin, start with something your doctor will recommend
  • Apply them before bed, never in the morning. These products make your skin more sensitive to the sun and you may burn.
  • Put as little as possible. You need a pea-sized amount for the whole face
  • Do not put in the eye circles. The skin in that area is sensitive and contact with retinoids can cause irritation and bags.

4. Put sunscreen on the places you forget

You may put sunscreen on your face every day but if you don't put it on your décolleté and arms your age will show sooner or later. Hands tend to get spots and wrinkles, and it's especially important to wear sunscreen when you're driving. At the chest point, the sunscreen should be applied up to the bra line.
