Fungus on the feet: Treatment with natural remedies
Nail fungus usually starts with white or yellow spots that appear on the tip of the nail. If not treated in time, the infection progresses deeper and takes over the entire nail, making it thicker and thicker and the tips crumble. The infection can spread to other nails. In some cases, it can cause nail detachment, bad odor and pain.

Natural recipes to deal with the problem
Lavender oil
Lavender oil has many antifungal and antiseptic properties that can fight any kind of infection and prevent any skin irritations.
Use:
Take equal amounts of lavender oil and tea tree oil, mix and heat slightly. With a cotton swab, apply a small amount of the solution around the nail, two to three times a day. It is recommended to apply the solution before going to bed.
White vinegar
White vinegar is one of the best ingredients that can be used to treat onychomycosis.
Use:
Mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water. Soak the infected nail in the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes daily until it is completely healed. In case of irritation, add a little more water and repeat the process every two days.
Apple cider vinegar
For this treatment, mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Soak the infected nail for half an hour daily in the solution. After half an hour, we dry our finger. If the treatment is continued daily for a few weeks, we will notice an immediate improvement.
Baking soda and vinegar
Baking soda does not have an antifungal effect, but it prevents the spread of the fungus. Although vinegar is acidic, its action is very mild, so it helps to deal with the fungus without drastically affecting the Ph of the skin.
Use:
We will need 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda, a cup of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar and water. In a small basin, add the vinegar and as much water as is needed to be able to dip our feet. Leave the feet in the basin for about 15 minutes and then wipe with paper – avoid the towel so as not to contaminate it. Then, we add baking soda to clean water and soak our feet again for about 20 minutes. We repeat the process twice a day.
Tea tree
This oil has antiseptic and antifungal properties and helps especially in the treatment of onychomycosis as well as other skin infections.
Use:
Use a cotton ball with the oil to lightly rub the infected nail. Then we use an old toothbrush or a small brush to clean the area. Before this process, it is important to mix the oil with olive oil. We repeat the process morning and night.
