Whitening teeth naturally
You can make a mini-teeth whitening at home, with economic materials which you have in kitchen your. See which one Dr Uchenna Okoye of London's Smiling Dental Group Cosmetic Dentistry recommends.
Strawberry
Mash a ripe strawberry, spread some of the pulp on your toothbrush and gently brush your teeth. You will see a difference within two weeks. Strawberry contains citric acid, which can weaken the hard outer shell of the tooth. But it also contains the much milder malic acid. The more ripe the strawberry, the higher its malic acid content and lower citric acid content. Brushing with strawberry paste is similar to exfoliating the skin as it helps remove surface debris.
Banana
Eat the nutritious banana but don't throw away the peel! Banana's potassium, magnesium and manganese remove stains from teeth. After eating the banana, rub the inside of the banana peel on the teeth for about two minutes. You will see results within three weeks.
Baking soda
It helps remove plaque and debris from the surface of teeth to make them appear whiter. It also neutralizes mouth acids caused by bacteria. In a glass, mix half a teaspoon of baking soda with half a teaspoon of water to make a paste. Dip the toothbrush into the mixture and brush for one to two minutes. Caution! Do not repeat more than three times a year, as excessive exposure of teeth to baking soda can lead to enamel wear.
