Shiny hair! These are the secrets of proper bathing
Most women learn a certain way to wash their hair when they're young and don't make changes to their hair care routine as they get older.
While there's nothing wrong with sticking to a certain style, there's a problem when that style wears your hair down.
You may think that weak ends and hair loss are solely related to using the wrong products, but often the problem lies in washing.
Read the following shampooing tips for clean and healthy hair.
-Use steam before washing
Scalp pores are usually full of oil and dirt. The best way to clean them is with the help of steam. Dip a towel in warm water, squeeze out the excess water and wrap the towel around your head for about 20 minutes.
-Massage your head before washing
Then gently massage your head with your fingers. This will help remove dirt and loose hairs.
-Use cool water
The heat of the hot water strips the natural oils from the hair and leaves your pores open, allowing moisture to escape. On the other hand, cool water leaves your hair shiny and reduces frizz.
-Use shampoo without parabens and sulfates (SLS)
I'm sure you've heard again and again that you should avoid skincare products with parabens and SLS. Parabens are added as a preservative, while SLS enhances the soapiness. These chemicals can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions. Prefer natural and gentle shampoos.
-Apply shampoo to your roots only
Applying shampoo to the ends of the hair dehydrates the hair. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the roots of your hair and massage until a lather forms.
-Massage while bathing
Massage in circular motions to cleanse your head and improve blood circulation in the area, thus helping your hair to grow.
Next, towel dry your hair (with patting motions, not rubbing) and apply conditioner to the ends of your hair. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse.
