Walnuts for a peaceful sleep!

I often hear you tell me you have stress and because of the difficult everyday life it seems reasonable to me. Besides, I have too!

The truth is that stress makes us miss him sleep us.

There are various natural solutions to avoid resorting to pills and I have written about several for you from time to time. One of them is walnuts.

The walnuts, apart from being a nutritious food that benefits our brain in various ways (e.g. improves memory and concentration), they can also give us restful sleep. They contain melatonin, which appears to increase concentrations of this hormone in the blood, helping the body "know" when it's time to sleep and when to wake up. In addition to melatonin, however, they also contain tryptophan, an amino acid that is converted into serotonin, which is related, among other things, to the relaxation of the nervous system and helps sleep. Apart from being an ideal snack, walnuts, if lightly roasted, can add extra flavor to our green salads.
