Why is constant weighing a compulsion?
The effort of some people to discover in scale how many grams they lost after a workout or how many kilos they gained after a meal, it's done persistence with bad psychological extensions.
In the gyms where bodybuilding or boxing athletes train during the competition season, you will see many such compulsive people but don't forget that these are athletes they are forced to live like this. A few grams of body weight over or under, play an important role in their career.
All the rest of us do not belong to their category and if we are every little bit over a scale you can be sure that we have passed the stage of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Weighing body weight once a month is the norm and ideally at the same time each time.
TIP: If the scale determines your psychology, i.e. if you have lost weight you are happy if not you are sad, throw it away immediately.
