These foods should never be consumed after the expiration date

THE expiration date on food it exists for a purpose and not decorative. Sometimes products have an expiration date earlier than they should in order to protect the world, however, there are many who, despite knowing that they should not consume certain foods after the date indicated, do so. There are some foods that IT IS FORBIDDEN eat though. What are these;

Shellfish
Once a shellfish has gone bad, it becomes extremely smelly and produces noticeably more "slime", so you can easily tell that it is forbidden to eat it. Otherwise it can give you a potentially fatal blood infection from a bacterium called V. vulnificus.

Molluscs
Like oysters, molluscs such as shrimp tend to grow bacteria even if they are relatively fresh or frozen. From the moment they are removed from the sea, a countdown to bacterial contamination begins. That's why molluscs should always be consumed as quickly as possible.

Chicken
Everyone has heard stories of people being damaged by improperly cooked chicken. Freezing it will extend its shelf life by a few months, but after thawing, be sure to cook the meat thoroughly to avoid any chance of contracting E. Coli.

Cold cuts
The same applies to cold meats, since there is a risk of infection with listeria, or E.coli. Developing dangerous bacteria is, unfortunately, all too common in processed and prepackaged meats.

Eggs
It's no surprise that the majority of people who get sick from food, or get food poisoning, are because they ate food that contained eggs.

Soft cheeses
When even hard cheeses develop mold, you can imagine what happens to soft cheeses, which have much more moisture. If the expiration date has passed there is a high risk of listeria from a moldy piece. Throw away the soft cheeses if you see that they have mold.

Be very careful and always look carefully at the expiry date of the products you buy.
