Post Holiday Detox – Complete Guide

Like every year, this year too, we ate and drank a little more. Despite the fact that we didn't go to a revival with friends and parties, however, in our homes we committed our "sins"!

This holiday season was quite different from the previous ones, but it had some elements in common. 

The food, the drink but also the night with very close people or our family!

The abuses of the holidays are reflected both on our face and on our body and we must act to prevent and not see in our mirrors something we definitely do not want! 

The right morning start

  • We try to wake up our metabolism with a few simple exercises. We don't need to get into demanding programs. Just a few exercises every morning is enough.
  • We eat a good breakfast. We avoid sweets and anything with unnecessary calories and preservatives and make sure to make healthy choices that will give us energy for the whole day. Why not make our own cereal bars too!

Breakfast idea:

– Toast with wholemeal bread, with cheese, turkey and tomato, along with fresh orange juice.

Delicious smoothie 

This smoothie is full of antioxidants, protein and calcium.

 

Materials:

– 2 cups of coarsely chopped spinach

– 1/3 cup of raspberries

– 170 grams of low-fat yogurt 

– 1 tablespoon of honey

 

Implementation:

 

Put all the ingredients in the blender and add a little water. 

Serve in a glass with some ice and enjoy!

 

Hydration from the inside

Hydration is the first step in "detoxification" of the body. We consume plenty of fluids to increase diuresis and sweating.

Fruits and vegetables during the day are essential.

Every morning we drink a cup of warm-boiled water with a few drops of fresh lemon juice and a little cinnamon!

Twice a week we do body peeling!

Homemade body scrub

Mix 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp olive oil. While taking a bath, apply the mixture to our body, massaging with gentle movements and then rinse with plenty of water!
