So in order to have a beautiful and healthy smile, first of all you have to pay attention to what you eat. Nutrition has a significant impact on their condition teeth and of gums.

What nutrients should be in the foods you eat to keep your teeth strong and healthy?

Calcium and phosphorus. You will find them in dairy products – cheeses, yogurts, kefir and milk.

Vitamin A. Foods rich in vitamin A are: eggs, carrots, kale, spinach, but also milk, dairy products, animal by-products.

Vitamin D. Make sure your diet includes butter, cod liver oil, eggs, dairy products and fatty fish.
Vitamin C. Eat foods such as: broccoli, peppers, Brussels sprouts, parsley, strawberries, spinach and citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruit).

To prevent the development of caries in the oral cavity, it is also worth stopping or at least strongly limiting the consumption of simple sugars. The improvement of the color of the teeth will be positively affected by the withdrawal of strong coloring substances such as coffee, tea or red wine.

However, a balanced diet is not enough to get a healthy smile. In addition to the appropriate nutrients you will provide your body, proper oral hygiene will also be necessary.

Brush your teeth at least twice a day – morning and night. However, it is not only how often we brush our teeth that matters, but also how we do it. It turns out that the vast majority of us, like the 90%, don't brush our teeth properly, skipping certain areas of the oral cavity.
