This is how you will treat cold sores
Oral herpes is an infection of the lips, mouth, or gums, caused by the herpes simplex virus type-1 (HSV-1).
Herpes in the mouth is also called cold sores, since it most often manifests itself on the lips. It manifests itself with small, painful blisters that look like flattened pimples and small ulcers on the skin.
Cold sores: Causes
After the first infection, the virus becomes inactive, but remains in the nerve tissues in the face. Sometimes, the virus later reactivates, causing the characteristic marks on the lips.
Herpes virus type-2 (HSV-2) usually causes genital herpes. However, sometimes HSV-2 spreads to the mouth during oral sex, causing oral herpes.
You can get the virus if you:
- You have close contact with someone who is infected
- Touch an open herpes sore or something that has come into contact with the herpes virus, such as contaminated razors, towels, dishes, and other shared items
How to deal with him:
- Vanilla extract
The reason it helps is because it's alcohol-based, so it makes it harder for the virus to spread and can reduce the severity and duration of the virus or even eliminate it. Dip an ear swab into the vanilla until soaked. Use directly on the cold sore keeping the cotton in place for about 1 minute. Follow the procedure 4 times a day.
- Aloe Vera
Aloe vera gel can quickly relieve the pain of herpes as soon as it appears. Aloe vera is considered one of the best natural remedies for skin problems. If you have the plant in your home, break off one of its leaves and apply its gel directly to the cold sore. If you don't have a plant, dip a cotton swab in 1/2 teaspoon of gel and apply directly to the wound.
If you do not see results consult your doctor or pharmacist in order to be given medication.
